Ronald McDonald House of Memphis opened its doors in 1991 committed to providing essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need treatments at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our vision of a world where every family has what they need to ensure the best health outcomes for their children has driven our pursuit to identify how we can care for more families with children who are ill or injured within our region.

I am proud to share, this year, we are expanding our mission and services by opening the new Ronald McDonald House program in Jackson, TN for families with children being treated at Le Bonheur Children’s & Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, as well as actively collaborating with St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.

In response to our current expansion of mission and to support our future vision of service, Ronald McDonald House of Memphis is honored to announce that we have officially changed our name to Ronald McDonald House West Tennessee & Northeast Arkansas.

Our new name reflects our organizations growth in service, programs, partnerships, and community engagement to show the expanded regionality of our mission.  This new regional alignment unifies our mission’s purpose of caring for families with children who are ill or injured regardless of their location within our chapter.  Additionally, it signifies to all communities that they are a vital partner in supporting the families who rely on our programs.

On behalf of all the families that are staying, have stayed, or will stay at Ronald McDonald House, we want to extend our deepest gratitude!
