How McDonald’s Helps Keep Families Near The Care They Need

For more than 50 years, McDonald’s and Ronald McDonald House have worked together to support families when they need it most. As the founding partner of Ronald McDonald House, McDonald’s supports our mission through in-store Donation Boxes, the Round-Up program, and menu item fundraisers such as the Shamrock Shake and Happy Meals. This longstanding partnership provides essential funding that helps remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. We couldn’t do this work without the ongoing support of McDonald’s and the generosity of its customers.

Ways to Give at McDonald’s:

• Round-Up for Ronald McDonald House: When you round-up your order to the nearest dollar, that small act at the register, kiosk or on the app helps families stay close during a child’s medical journey.
• Donation Boxes: Paying in Cash? Drop your spare change in the donation boxes located at the front counter and drive thru. Your small change adds up to big support!
• Penny Per Happy Meal: For every Happy Meal purchased, a penny is donated to Ronald McDonald House families.
